DONATIONS
The Home requires a monthly average of about $80,000 for its operations. About 25 percent of this cost is provided by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports as a grant based on the number of children in residence. However, the major part of the Home’s operational costs is funded by donations from corporations, organised groups and well-wishing individuals.
100% of all donations is applied for the care, education and development of our children. All volunteers and Committee members provide their services without any remuneration.
For cash donations to the Society, an official tax-deductible receipt will be issued to the donor.

The Home's Microwave oven has broken down and we are in need of another. If you have a Microwave oven that's in good condition, do give us a ring to let us know if you'd like to donate it to our Home.
Special Request
One of our needy families are in need of furniture for their L-shaped 1 room rental flat as it is currently bare.
If you would like to sponsor a new piece of furniture or have a used piece in very good condition that you'd like to donate, kindly contact us at 64665758 or sarah@childrensaidsociety.org.sg with a picture and measurement description of your item. We would deeply appreciate it if transportation to our Home can be arranged by the donor. The following items are needed:
- small dining table with 4 chairs
- single bed with mattress
- table top stove (2 hob)
